Message from PACA Chairman on COVID-19
This is an unprecedented time for our Commonwealth, our nation and, frankly, the entire planet. You have heard and seen much on COVID-19 and I will not belabor the challenges that we are facing. Our industry is committed to taking all the appropriate precautions and implementing federal, state and local guidance to safeguard our workforce, our customers and the families of our working men and women.

Our priority is for everyone in our community to be safe and to flatten the curve as quickly as possible. We will continue to monitor this situation on a daily basis and we've added a COVID-19 page on our website to keep you informed of the latest developments. In addition, we acted proactively to minimize the spread by cancelling or postponing numerous events, meetings and certification exams through April 30.

Our Association will continue to function with staff working remotely to serve our members. We have launched an online members forum to create a platform for interaction and engagement. We will maintain for as long as needed.

We will come out of this stronger and more resilient than ever. Please look after yourselves and your families and stay safe and healthy.

Online Membership Forum Launched
In the midst of the uncertainty surrounding us today, we have decided to launch an online membership forum to stay connected with your peers and your Association. We are planning to hold these weekly as long as you see value in this engagement.

What are we hoping to accomplish:

  • serve as a clearinghouse for information
  • share best practices and solutions,
  • act as a platform to elevate questions to PennDOT, DEP, MSHA and more.
These weekly online gatherings will start on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:00 am and should not exceed an hour.

The forum agenda will be driven by your questions or topics that you wish to start a dialogue with your industry peers. Plus, you will have an opportunity to engage with your Association staff in an open conversation format.

Please have your questions, topics for discussion, or information that you wish to share to Peter by close of business on Monday.

Tell Us What You Think of the New PACA Website
Have you seen the new PACA website? If not, please check it out!

The intent of this new website is to be an evolving product with more updates and added information on a much more consistent basis, rather than the static site of before.

And, bear in mind, this is just Phase I of the project. There are some exciting additions coming to Phase II, but much more behind-the-scenes work needs to be done before the launch of Phase II.

For now, we'd like to hear your feedback on the new site and give us some suggestions of what you'd like to see on the new site. Take a few minutes to please complete are VERY short survey.
