PACA Board of Directors Announces Candidates for 2022 - 2024 Term
On behalf of the members of PACA's Nominating Committee, we are pleased to announce the candidates for the PACA Board of Directors for term to expire in 2024.

In accordance with ARTICLE VI, Section 4 of the Association’s Bylaws, “Each Active Member shall have the right to cast one vote on all matters coming before the membership meeting. At the time of voting, each Active Member shall designate one representative to cast said vote.”

The final vote will take place at the PACA Annual Meeting and will be announced at the General Membership Meeting scheduled for 8:00 AM on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. We encourage all active member companies to have a representative present at the Annual Meeting to vote.

The candidates are as follows:

Jonathan Kolbe, Allegheny Mineral Corporation

Associate Membership to Cast Vote at PACA Annual Meeting
The members of the Associate Nominating Committee are also pleased to announce their candidates for the three-year term of 2022 to 2024 as well.

Those candidates are:

Steve Somerville, Mapei Corporation

Greg Donecker, Kemper Equipment

Robert Braun, Airmatic Inc.

Similar to the process noted in the article above, Associate members of PACA are urged to have one delegate attend and vote at the PACA Annual Meeting in Hershey. The results of this election will also be announced during the General Membership Meeting in Hershey.

TWO Events for Max Education & Networking in ONE Beautiful Location!
This year, co-located with the PACA Annual Meeting in Hershey is the brand new event - PACAWorks - scheduled for November 15th from 9:45 AM to 1:15 PM.

PACAWorks consists of targeted education and networking time with specific topic materials for those members of your team or for yourself, who generally are not given the opportunity to attend the Annual Meeting. The subject matter includes concrete promotion, national aggregate technical issues, MS4, DEP's risk management philosophy, an opioid training program and marijuana legalization, and sustainability. The registration fee also includes lunch immediately following these concurrent sessions featuring a presentation by retired New York City Fire Lieutenant, Joseph Torrillo, who was buried not once, but TWICE, under the rubble of the collapsed Twin Towers on 9/11 and survived! Joseph tells his tale of survival entitled "Buried Alive with the Will to Survive: From Devastation to Inspiration" as the luncheon keynote speaker.

You can attend just the above noted sessions, the lunch and Joseph's presentation for just $50 per person! OR - if you wish to attend these sessions, lunch, Joseph's presentation ALONG WITH ALL of the Annual Meeting events - you can register to attend the Annual Meeting for $595 per person, which includes everything for that one price.

Room Block for PACA Annual Meeting to Expire on October 20th
If you are planning to attend the PACA Annual Meeting at the Hotel Hershey on November 15-16, we encourage you to book your room quickly as the room block will expire on October 20th. Once the block expires, room availability and discount rates cannot be guaranteed.

An updated schedule of events, as well as a current attendance list are available on our website, along with hotel booking information and a link to register for the meeting. Register before November 1st to receive the discounted rates.
