Action Alert - Tell Congress to Pass the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act!

Dear PACA Members:

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) has reached out to ask PACA members assistance to rally for action on the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

With federal highway programs expiring at the end of September, it is critical that the House of Representatives acts to pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). This historic legislation will reauthorize surface transportation programs for five years and make a robust investment in the nation’s infrastructure needs.NRMCA is working with a broad coalition of transportation stakeholders to meet with congressional offices and key staff to urge the passage of this bill – but Members of Congress need to hear YOUR voice!

The bipartisan IIJA has been passed by the Senate and Speaker Pelosi has promised that the bill will be considered by the House by September 27.

It is critical that you communicate the importance of this bill to the ready mixed concrete and construction industry to your representative.
